Practical Workshop
This workshop is ideal to use as a practical learning activity where your students will participate in different sport science fitness tests, where they will be able to assess their fitness and athletic performance in various fitness components such as their speed, agility, strength power, plus various other tests of fitness components. Your students will also gain insight and knowledge on different technology and equipment used to test athletes physical fitness and learn about the protocols and processes used when testing fitness and athletic performance. Your students will be able to keep a record of their scores from the day plus we provide your students with guidance and advice on how they can develop their own fitness and athletic ability.
Theory and Practical Workshop
The Theory and Practical Workshop is an extension to the practical workshop and are aimed at young people and students studying subjects in PE, Sport and sport science. The Theory and Practical Workshop is ideal to enhance your young people and students overall learning of sports science testing by combining both theory and practical application. This workshop provides more in-depth learning and greater insight on how the theory of testing athletes is applied in practice using real-life scenarios. The workshop comes in the form of two separate workshop sessions, a theory session followed by a practical session. The Theory session provides students with more in-depth learning on the testing equipment, testing protocols, procedures and applications used to test athletes.
Fitness Challenge Day Workshop
The Fitness Challenge Day workshop is inclusive for all young people and students to participate in as a fun experience of activities that can be incorporated in the form of challenges or competitions assessing fitness. The Fitness Challenge Day Workshops are ideal for:
- Enrichment activities,
- An activity day event
- Sports week events
- Alternative P.E lessons
- Extracurricular activities
Speed Day – Sprint Challenge
The Speed Day – Sprint Challenge is inclusive for all young people and students using are electronic speed timing gates young people and students can see how fast they can run over 20m and see who is the fastest boy or girl in the school, year, or house group, or alternatively, the day can be adapted to a fun theme your choice.
